Heya, my name is Mari Mouts!

I'm a 2D animator and illustrator with a love for bringing characters to life

I've always been drawn to the whole journey of a story, not just one piece of it, which is probably why I can never quite pick just one part of it.

I began my career in Brazil, driven by curiosity about the whole process and a dream of making something myself, so I've gone for it: rigging, line production, concept development, writing, illustration... and somewhere along the way, I fell completely in love with animation.

That love followed me to the UK, where I've spent the last 8 years mostly making 2D animation for series. It's been such a treat to work on projects for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney+, Netflix, BBC, Channel 5 and many others.

Outside of client work, I love illustration, especially children's illustration, comics and game art.
